Although it's a bit late in the game, the excessive development in the county must be curtailed. This requires an end to the "cozy" relationship between developers and the Montgomery County government. I have lived here for 22 years and watched traffic reach horrendous proportions, schools consistently overcrowded and asking for more money (despite getting half the county's budget), and taxes increased excessively. I believe that all of this has resulted from excessive development and resultant population growth. Building more highways, like the ICC, is only another free ride for developers, who will quickly build along these new roads and create new traffic problems.
